Terms of Service

Last updated: August 22, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Fabro ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Fabro is a cloud invoicing and payment workflow designed first for tradespeople and self-employed construction professionals. These Terms govern your access to and use of the Service, including any content, functionality, and features offered through fabro.app.

2. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction to create an account. By creating an account on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

3. Service Description

Fabro provides tools to:

  • Create and send quotes and invoices
  • Request deposits and track project billing stages
  • Offer supported online payments through a connected Stripe account
  • Send automated payment reminders to your clients
  • Apply late payment fees according to your configured rules
  • Track revenue, outstanding balances, and payment history
  • Manage milestone-based billing for projects

The Service requires an account and an internet connection. Your business data is stored and synchronised through cloud infrastructure; Fabro is not a local-only or offline-first record system.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

The web offer includes Starter and Pro plans. Current monthly prices and principal usage limits are:

  • Starter — €12 excluding VAT: 20 clients, unlimited quotes and invoices, and 5 projects
  • Pro — €29 excluding VAT: unlimited clients, quotes, and invoices, 20 projects, plus payment, automation, e-invoicing, API, and MCP features

By subscribing to a paid web plan:

  • You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis
  • Subscription fees are billed in advance at the beginning of each billing cycle
  • All fees are quoted in euros (EUR) unless otherwise specified
  • Prices may change with 30 days' prior notice

Web trial. A newly created web account receives Pro access for 14 days without providing a payment card. It is not charged automatically. If no paid plan is selected, creation features become read-only until an available plan is chosen.

Apple offers. These Terms describe the web offer and do not promise an App Store trial or price. If an iOS purchase is offered, the price, trial, billing, and cancellation terms displayed by Apple apply to that purchase.

Web cancellation. You may cancel a Stripe-billed web subscription from billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing cycle, except where required by law.

Failed payments. If a payment fails, we will attempt to charge your payment method again. After repeated failures, your account may be paused or moved to read-only mode. A 7-day grace period is provided before access restrictions take effect.

5. Payment Processing

Payment processing is handled by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. By using Fabro to accept payments, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Fabro is not a payment processor. We facilitate the connection between you and Stripe but are not responsible for the processing, settlement, or holding of funds. Stripe's fees apply separately to each transaction.

6. Your Responsibilities

When using the Service, you agree to:

  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including tax and invoicing requirements in your jurisdiction
  • Provide accurate information in your invoices
  • Not use the Service for fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal activities
  • Not attempt to circumvent rate limits, security measures, or access restrictions
  • Not use automated means to access the Service beyond provided APIs

Late fees and reminders. You are solely responsible for configuring late payment fees and automated reminders in compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction. Fabro provides the tools but does not provide legal advice on the legality of specific fee amounts or reminder schedules.

7. Your Data

You retain full ownership of all data you input into the Service, including client information, invoice data, and project details ("Your Data"). We do not claim any intellectual property rights over Your Data.

You grant us a limited license to use, store, and process Your Data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

Data access and portability. Available document exports can be downloaded from the Service. For a broader access or portability request, contact privacy@fabro.app.

Account deletion. Confirming account deletion disables access and starts an irreversible deletion process. Do not rely on a post-deletion export period. Limited records may be retained only where required for legal, tax, payment, fraud-prevention, or security obligations; see the Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, branding, and documentation, is owned by Fabro and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.

The Fabro name, logo, and associated trademarks may not be used without prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Fabro and its team shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
  • Any damages arising from your reliance on the Service for payment collection
  • Actions taken by your clients in response to invoices or reminders sent through the Service

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

No guarantee of payment collection. Fabro is a tool that facilitates invoicing and payment reminders. We do not guarantee that your clients will pay their invoices. We are not a debt collection agency.

10. Availability and Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • Results obtained through the Service will be accurate or reliable
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements

We strive for high availability but planned maintenance and unforeseen outages may occur. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of scheduled downtime in advance.

11. Termination

You may close your account at any time from your account settings.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Use the Service for illegal activities
  • Fail to pay subscription fees after the grace period
  • Engage in activity that harms other users or the Service

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Account deletion follows the irreversible process described in Section 7. Export any records you need before confirming deletion.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.

14. Contact
